The CW has made headlines this summer with the debut of several exciting shows, such as Jewel Staite-starring Family Law: an entertaining legal drama centered around an imperfect family of lawyers.

Jewel Staite is an award-nominated Canadian actress, best known for her roles as Kaylee Frye from Firefly and its spinoff film Serenity. In 1996 she debuted as Kaylee Frye. Victor Garber

Family Law centers around Abigail Bianchi, an attorney trying to pick herself back up after hitting rock bottom. She must work at her estranged father’s family-law firm as part of her probation while staying sober and bonding with his half-brothers and half-sister whom she has yet to meet.

This show is a legal drama exploring the challenges families are experiencing today. Genelle Williams
